Luke’s story in my own words…
Busking to Fame
Luke used to be an ordinary boy like you and me. He soon realised that he had to make up a career decision and even though he had a job at Subway, he soon realised his passion for music. He learned to play the guitar then realised he had an amazing voice, thus he started busking. After amazing results from his busking he realised people really enjoyed listening to him so he entered a local talent show called ‘Teignmouth’s got talent’ not long after he moved there. Fortunately he won! Luke wanted to do music for a living and was already on the road to success so took a risk at entering ‘TeenStar 2013’. After auditions and performances from over 9,000 hopefuls, Luke won! A very worthwhile risk! Luke was now determined he would spend the rest of his life in music so entered The X Factor. And guess what! He didn’t win, he was against strong competition but came 3rd to runner up Nicholas McDonald and 2013 winner Sam Bailey. The story goes on. He has a fan abase called ‘Friendies’. He wasn’t in it for the fame, but for the life of music. It just shows that it you don’t give up, you will never fail. You never lose until you stop trying. -

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!”_____ screamed. It had all payed off! She/he was going to meet Luke the next day!_____ didn’t know which thing was more surprising than meeting the person you love. There she/he was, in a limo with THE Luke Friend. Luke began to ask him/her questions about himself/herself. _____ tried to answer them but all that came out was a minuscule squeak. Luke couldn’t hold it in much longer. He burst out laughing and began to snort like a pig. This made _____ join in with the laughing as well. When they finally stopped laughing Luke handed _____ a gift box with his/her name on it. After the name it said love Luke and then his signature. _____ looked at Luke and smiled. She/he delicately took of the lid only to reveal a mini guitar ornament just like Luke’s guitar! It had his signature on the bottom right hand corner of it with a big love heart. _____ stared at it in awe. It was amazing. She/he thanked Luke with a big cuddle and then Luke asked _____ if she/he would like him to play a song for her/him. _____ said of course so Luke began to play and sing “Your Song” which he had performed on The X Factor. When he reached the chorus he told _____ to join in. _____ was very nervous! she got teased about her singing at school but she sang her heart out anyway. Luke was very impressed and started dialling a number on his phone. _____ asked what he was doing but Luke ignored her/him. Luke began to speak…. “Hello is that Louis? Louis Walsh? Good yes how are you? Good good. I was just calling to tell you about the competition winner who gets to meet me, well she is here with me now. Let me have you know this girl/boy could win the X Factor with that talent. You have Simon with you? Do you want me to get her to sing? Ok.” _____ couldn’t believe what he/she was hearing. Was she about to sing to Louis and Simon? And she/he did. And Simon gave her a recording contract straight away.
Luke taught ______ how to write their own music later on. ______ went on to be a big pop sensation and met up with Luke often. They wrote an album together and began to get very attached. Also, _____ was now the most popular kid in school ever! No more bullies! No more bullying and writing music to perform together with Luke Friend all because of a competition and a bit of luck! And Luke and _____ had something special. But that’s another story!

Luke’s Locks
As most of you all know, Luke is very well known for his gorgeous hair. This all started because when he was just 17 years of age, Luke auditioned for world famous X Factor. Moments after he entered the zone, X Factor judge Nicole immediately took a liking to his unique hair. She asked him how her got it like that, like he had some sort of strategies to make it look like that. To everyone’s surprise, Luke revealed that he hadn’t washed it for over half a year, 9 months to be precise!
This got a lot of people talking, adding up to an immense cheer when in week 3 of the X Factor, X Factor’s very own hairdresser, Jamie Stevens washed Luke’s lushious locks. Even Nicole commented on it being nice and clean, saying she wanted to bury her head in it after yet another fabulous performance that he gave! Luke now washes his hair all the time. But why did he not wash it in the first place? Well don’t worry, this fantastic information about a music legend has all the answers! He later told the public that he didn’t wash it because beforehand he was worried that washing it would ruin its flair (and he was trying dreadlocks, he certainly achieved that!). But now that he is confident it actually looks better, he washes it all the time. No conditioner though, he thinks that is just going too far, oh well never mind! I can’t get enough of his adorable hair! Oh and not forgetting his dimples with the little plait at the side of his face… SHAMAZEBALLS!!!!! -
