Birmingham Pride weekend approaches as the city gears up for its yearly celebration. This year marks the silver jubilee of the LGBTQ+ festival, commencing with a Smithfield event on Friday and a parade on Saturday.

What’s the Birmingham Pride Weekend Agenda? The festivities commence with a complimentary community gathering at Smithfield. On Saturday, the Birmingham Pride parade sets off from Centenary Square at 11 am, weaving through the city at noon. The parade route encompasses various locales, including those listed below:
Paradise Circus Tramway
New Street
High Street
St. Martins
Queensway
Hurst Street
Thorpe Street
To date Birmingham pride has donated over £500,000 to LGBTQ+ charities and support groups since 2015 for essential services and more. The pride has also raised over £275,000 for various LGBTQ+ development projects, as well as £105,000 granted as subsidies to related organizations.
