Our music contributor, DJ and presenter Lorcan, has chosen Diana Ross and her brand new single If The World Just Danced as our track of the week this week.

Ross released the track earlier this month as the second single from her her new album Thank You. Ross who needs little introduction rose to fame as the lead singer of the vocal group the Supremes, who became Motown’s most successful act during the 1960s and one of the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time.

Lorcan adds ‘This track is an immediate dancefloor filler, not many acts can make a song that you instantly love but if anyone can do it, it’s going to be Diana Ross. It fills me with so much joy that at the age of 77 she’s still doing what she loves best, entertaining and giving people an excuse to dance, and enjoy themselves’
