It’s easy to forget Madonna is closer to 60 than 50 however it was very difficult not to giggle when her dancers dragged the pop veteran backwards off stage in front of millions at the Brit Awards last night. The American songstress was wearing an Armani personalised cape as her statement piece, which she seemed to have trouble undoing stepping onto the platform. The 56-year-old issued a statement later saying she was “fine” and that her cape had been “tied too tight”.

Many however are starting to question whether it was actually just a really good publicity stunt with her album due for release soon.
